Discover Cornwall’s Lizard Peninsula – golden beaches, dramatic coastal walks, and charming harbour villages waiting to be explored.

If you’re looking for a holiday that feels like a real escape, the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall is hard to beat. It’s the most southerly point of mainland Britain, and it has a charm all of its own. You’ll find some of the most beautiful beaches in Cornwall here – from hidden coves with crystal-clear waters to wide sandy stretches perfect for relaxing, swimming, or rock-pooling with the family.

The coastal walks are absolutely stunning too. The South West Coast Path winds its way along dramatic cliffs and headlands, giving you unforgettable views of turquoise seas, wildflowers, and even the chance to spot seals or dolphins if you’re lucky. It’s a walker’s paradise, whether you fancy a gentle stroll or a day-long hike.

The Lizard Peninsula is a wonderful mix of relaxation and adventure, with plenty of unspoilt spots to discover at your own pace. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, breathe in the sea air, and really feel like you’ve got away from it all.

And then there are the harbour villages – picture-perfect little places like Cadgwith and Coverack, where you can wander narrow lanes, watch the fishing boats come and go, and enjoy a proper Cornish pasty or some freshly caught seafood.
